I am a size women’s US 5 wide and I purchased a size 6 (says extra wide). I am not sure of my current size because I am 6mos pregnant and I believe my feet are more swollen than usual. I still fit in my overly used 5.5 wide mesh sneakers, so it can’t be that far off.I want to say these are the most instantly comfortable shoes I have ever purchased! there is hardly toe room, so I want to say maybe it is a half size smaller than usual. (in womens) The width, even with my slightly swollen feet, are not as wide as I would hope with it being called “extra wide”, but these are made in china(size37), so running small was expected, which is why I went one whole size up.. I can always return or where extra socks when feet aren’t swollen.I thought the shoe had more room to open up, but they seem regular wide and no room for pregnant or diabetics for those days your feet just blow up big. I think they are Regular wide(like at payless shoe stores which were pretty much the only stores i could find my size in) They come with an insert that give it more support, but makes a little less room (they feel just as comfy with out the inserts as well, very soft on the inside. They are mesh shoes, which, being a fan of mesh shoes for my naturally wide feet, means there will be some give to the fabric over time to widen more and fit even better. That also means they are breathable and not waterproof.I hoped the tongue would open up more, but it is attached about 1.5 inches from the top, so less room to widen or slip on easily(hands free), but they still slip on smoothly using your hands, so if you have trouble bending down.. it’s still easier than tying up shoes. The bottom looks to be the style/print of non-slip shoes. I work in a kitchen and it is required I have official non-slip shoes, these are not official, but it IS the print and they seemed fine at work, granted I did not test it on oil spills, but worked ok on icy walk ways and water spills at work.I gave it one less star because of the advertisement of “extra wide”. they are regular wide for women’s or not wide at all compared to men’s shoes.new edit: My feet have blown up twice their size, I actually am able to wear the shoe still, just barely, so they do have more room than I thought. I have noticed now that the Velcro does not take up the whole strip, so I am at the point where they just fit now, nut i have to tighten the strap slightly so I can reach the velcro (there is about 3 inches of strap to use, but can’t reach the attached part) I suppose you can glue or see on extra velcro area to help extend it a bit more.I stopped worked a couple weeks after I started to wear them, so I have only worn them about 8 more times to my prenatal appointments, been on a modified bed rest, and the soft soles are already starting to wear out. I still think it was a great purchase and comfortable choice for my pregnancy, but if you have a life long chronic issue with swollen feet(diabetes, gout, poor circulation, etc) then I don’t feel the soles will last long at all. The mesh shoe part I think is much tougher, so maybe, if you don’t mind replacing the soles, it would still be a decent investment for the price.I wear these when my feet are too swollen to put on any other shoes . They are comfortable and I can walk without feeling pain. I wear support socks too.I have neuropathy in my fit and am continually trying to find shoes that will fit okay. These shoes seemingly do that - though I've only worn them once. This item was purchased for an elderly family member with swollen, diabetic feet. Shoes are quite comfortable and easy for her to put on. Mesh-like material protects entire foot and offers good ventilation. Removable insoles are an added benefit. Shoes purchased (cream) are best for spring/summer wear or warmer climate. Most likely will order a second pair in dark color ( worn with socks) for cooler temps.Just what i neededThese are my second pair. They are the only shoes that fit the ankle brace on one foot and still fit comfortably on the other with out being too loose.Very pleased.I like the fact that the shoes come with additional inserts to change the support. My wife found them easy to put on, but they were too long by a lot. They look well made and I only wish we could have kept them but they were much too large.I wear 9.5 in most shoes so ordered these. While they fit length wise, it's like wearing clogs. They are just too wide and big for my feet. I can pull the velcro strap as tight as I want but the shoes are overall too big. Perhaps if my feet were swollen or something but they are not.Wearing them for gardening. I would not wear these out of for walking. Too clunky.Overpriced pair of shoes. Never worth the money do not buy
