Trying to lose weight, walking 6 miles a day/ 4 days a week and have been having a lot of foot pain associated with obesity (250lb) and plantar fasciitis. The shoes initially felt stiff (as all new shoes do) and kind of hard-soled to walk on, however I noticed after several miles (lots of rest and restarts) that I didn't have to start each time with "walking off" the plantar fasciitis pain for several minutes to be able to keep going comfortably, but was able to just get up and go without that initial pain each time. The design is very plain for me but I've put several miles on them and my feet feel much better than usual.Fits great feels good on feetI have Fasciitis in my right foot arch and is Very Painful. I had other shoes, but they were not designed for issues related to Fastia . For Ortho shoes they are Quite Stylish, Well Designed, Fit like Slippers, and Helps remind you to maintain you good posture.
